The largest ski center in Serbia is, most certanly, Kopaonik. With 200 sunny days a year and snow which lasts 3-4 months, Kopaonik offers the opportunities for both winter and summer tourists activities. During the winter, this tourists centre offers winter sports activities on about 50 km of ski runs for Alpine skiing and 18 km of ski runs for Nordic skiing. For night skiing fans, Kopaonik has prepared the run "Malo jezero", and there is also a snowboard park wher numerous domestic and international competitions are organized. The ski centre is equipped with 6 four seater chair lifts, 5 two seater chair lifts and 11 more T-bar and platter type ski lifts.

Apart from that, for the youngest skiers, who are taking their firsts steps, Kopaonik has prepared a secured "ski kindergarten" area with a conveyor belt which makes learning basic skiing skills easier. On the ski runs Karaman greben, Pancicev vrh and Duboka, Kopaonik has installed artificial snowing systems. This enables skiing seasons to last longer, and skiers, both the beginners and those more advanced ones, not to depend on climate conditions and more.

During the entire winter season, but also during the summer, the four seater chair lift, apart from skiers and snowboarders, also takes visitors to this ski center who do not practice winter sports, but take a panoramic sightseeing tour of the center and take part in numerous other activities that the ski centre Kopaonik provides.
