Monastery of Pustinja
Pustinja monastery in the Jablanica Gorge not far from the village of Pocuta near Valjevo is thought to date from 13th or 14th century. King Dragutin is assumed to have founded it as a church of miners. Pustinja now is a convent.

Monastery of Jovanja
Monastery Jovanja is located in the close vicinity of Valjevo (7km) on the road to Pocuta and Bajina Basta. The church of the monastery of Jovanja near Valjevo was probably built at the end of the 15th century or beginning of the 16th.

Monastery of Bogovadja
The monastery of Bogovadja is located near Mionica not far from Valjevo. Bogovadja is a convent.

Monastery of Dokmir
Monastery Dokmir is located in the village of the same name, near Brankovina. Dokmir monastery had an eight-year elementary school. In the second half of the 18th century there lived Haji Ruvim who founded paintings and a wood-carving school. Dokmir is a convent.
